By creating an account, accessing, or using our Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

WantQR? provides a platform for generating QR codes and creating short links. Our Service allows you to:

• Create QR codes from URLs and other content
• Generate short, trackable links
• Track scans and clicks on your QR codes and links
• Customize QR codes with logos and branding
• Access analytics and reporting features

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time, with or without notice.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Registration

To use certain features of our Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Maintain the security of your password and account
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

3.2 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without prior notice, for violation of these Terms or for any other reason we deem necessary to protect the integrity, safety, and security of our Service. Circumstances that may lead to termination include, but are not limited to, suspected fraudulent activity, repeated policy violations, misuse of platform features, or any conduct that poses a risk to other users or to the platform as a whole. Where legally permitted, we may retain certain account records following termination to support ongoing safety investigations or to comply with legal obligations.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use our Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service to create QR codes or links that point to illegal, harmful, or offensive content
• Use the Service for spam, phishing, or any fraudulent activity
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others
• Transmit viruses, malware, or any other harmful code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without permission
• Create excessive load on our infrastructure
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity

4.1 Content Removal

We reserve the right to remove, disable, or permanently delete any QR code, short link, or other content generated through our Service at any time, with or without notice, if we determine — in our sole discretion — that such content:

• Directs users to phishing websites, malware, scam pages, or other harmful destinations
• Is associated with spam campaigns, bulk unsolicited messaging, or click fraud
• Facilitates the distribution of illegal content, including material that infringes copyright, promotes violence, or involves the exploitation of minors
• Is being used in a coordinated or automated manner to abuse our platform or third-party systems
• Has been flagged or reported as harmful by users, automated safety systems, or third-party threat intelligence sources
• Violates any applicable law or regulation, regardless of whether a formal complaint has been received

Removal of content does not entitle you to any refund or credit for your subscription.

4.2 Account Suspension and Termination for Suspicious Activity

In addition to the termination rights described in Section 3.2, we may immediately suspend or permanently close your account if we detect or are notified of suspicious, abusive, or harmful behavior, including but not limited to:

• Unusual volume or velocity of QR code or link creation that suggests automated abuse, a coordinated attack, or an attempt to circumvent usage limits
• Impersonation of known brands, organizations, or individuals through QR codes, short links, or associated landing pages
• Credential stuffing, brute-force attempts, or any effort to compromise user accounts on our platform or through links generated via our Service
• Multiple accounts created by the same person or organization to bypass plan limits, bans, or other restrictions
• Reports from affected users, third parties, or law-enforcement agencies linking your account to harmful or illegal activity
• Abnormal scan or click patterns indicating the use of bots, click farms, or artificial traffic manipulation
• Use of our Service as an intermediary to redirect users away from legitimate content after a QR code has been distributed or a link has been shared

Enforcement actions may be taken proactively based on automated signals or manual review in order to protect the safety and integrity of our Service. Where legally permitted and required, we may report confirmed illegal activity to the appropriate authorities and cooperate fully with any resulting investigation.

4.3 Appeals

If you believe that content was removed or your account was suspended in error, you may contact us to request a review. We will make reasonable efforts to investigate and respond to your appeal; however, we retain the final right to uphold or reverse any enforcement action at our sole discretion. We are not obligated to restore removed content or reactivate terminated accounts.

5. Content and Intellectual Property

5.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit, post, or display through our Service, including URLs, logos, and other materials. By using our Service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

5.2 Our Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by WantQR? and is protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Service without our prior written consent.

6. Subscription Plans and Payments

6.1 Subscription Plans

We offer various subscription plans with different features and limits. Details of our plans are available on our Pricing page and reflected inside the Subscription dashboard. Usage counters reset on the billing date displayed in your account. We reserve the right to modify our plans and pricing at any time, with notice to existing subscribers.

6.2 Billing

Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis, as selected. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as otherwise stated in these Terms.

6.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have access to the Service until the end of the billing period.

6.4 Refunds

Refunds are provided only in accordance with our refund policy or as required by applicable law. Contact us for refund requests.

7. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee that the Service will be available 100% of the time. The Service may be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, technical issues, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from Service unavailability.

8. Data Retention

Data retention periods vary by subscription plan. We will retain analytics, QR codes, and links according to your plan's specifications outlined above. If you downgrade or cancel a subscription, content that exceeds the new plan's limits may be removed once the applicable retention period ends. Upon account termination, we may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless WantQR? and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another.
